Marpu Foundation Founder Kadiri Raghu Vamsi

KADIRI RAGHU VAMSI | FOUNDER

Kadiri Raghu Vamsi founded Marpu Foundation at the age of 18, driven by a simple conviction that stuck with him since childhood in an army cantonment: if the existing solution is not working, the problem needs a new approach. Seven years later, that conviction has scaled into one of India's most operationally intensive grassroots NGOs, executing environmental and community development projects across 20+ states through partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and leading Indian enterprises. Raghu is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper (Hyderabad Hub), recipient of India's Chakra Award 2019 for leadership in environmental protection and sustainable development, and has been recognised as a Champions of Impactful CSR Leader 2025. He also leads KRV Group and OurVolunteer.com, a corporate volunteering platform that connects companies with structured, impact-driven engagement opportunities. His published research on Volunteer-First CSR and SDG Localization is available on the Social Science Research Network.
